- Wilhelm Klimt was born in Vienna, Austria a relative of Gustav Klimt. Wilhelm majored in business and art at NYU. With the art background of both Wilhelm and Maurine Klimt they have represented artists for over 25 years. While on a trip to Europe "we were shocked by the inferior Asian reproductions of Gustav Klimt's work and with the family background, decided to make this our own." Maurine Klimt comes from the worlds of Ballet and Fashion and is second generation in art, with training at the University of Utah.
